The response of some calendula cultivars (Calendula officinalis L.) to salt during the germination period

Calendula officinalis L. is one of the important medicinal plants known as "Pot marigold" in world and has become widespread recent years due to its economic importance. Salt stress abiotic factors that limits crop productivity by affecting growth plants, especially arid semi-arid regions. These negative effects salt stress, which affects development causing osmotic ion plants; It varies depending on type salt, level duration genotype plant exposed developmental stage. This research was carried out determine some physiological parameters calendula (Calendula officinalis) grown under different (NaCl) dose applications (control, 50, 100 150 mM). Parameters such germination time, rate, root stem length, length were investigated. As a result research; The effect investigated found be statistically significant. determined increasing concentrations decreased length.
